practicalcatAndrew and I went out for sushi last night, and HOLY COW. I got a 24-piece sushi combo for $10! (Well, $10 before taxes and tip, but even with that, it was about $15). And it was good sushi too! The salmon and the tuna seem to have been pureed, which wasn't my favorite, but still tasty. And the pieces that I couldn't finish actually firmed up a bit in the fridge, so yay!
So, yes: if you're in Vancouver, it's a fantastic opportunity for sushi.
Also, Mom went and looked up the rules for bringing cheese into Canada. Apparently, I can bring in up to $20 or 20 kg of cheese, whichever comes first. Also, tea is allowed no problem. Yaaaaaaaaay!
